The Peugeot 308 GTi PHASE 250/270 Hybrid turbo is capable of 300-400hp and is a direct bolt on comprising of a modified compressor & turbo housing with an enlarged compressor & turbine wheel.
We would suggest this turbo is accompanied with a fmic intercooler upgrade.
A hybrid turbo requires custom mapping which typically cost £900+. There are tuning ceilings for EP6 range of engines such as max fuel available is approx 275-295hp therefore menthanol injection is required to reach a peak power level of 300-325hp. Other limits is the boost map sensor which is 1.8bar. When tuning these cars we tend to run out of fuel before running out of the turbo ability to make more power. A custom inlet manifold is available so to run piggy back fuel injectors, as of 2021 there are only rumours this is possible using the stock ECU. Custom ECU's are anything from 1-2K. Upgrade on the stock 308 GTi MK2 clutch would also be required as we have seen torque at 450nm+ whereas the stock clutch is only capable of a peak 360nm.
